Our Mission

Our mission is simple: To empower individuals and their communities by providing them with the necessary resources  needed to not only achieve but sustain a better life through economic development. Our role in this effort is to make available capital resources, technical, administrative and what ever else is needed to fill the gap to achieving success in a nonpolitical, nonpartisan and autonomous  environment.

Areas of Focus

Health and Wellness

Health as “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity (illness).” Wellness as “the optimal state of health of individuals and groups,” and wellness is expressed as “a positive approach to living.”

Food Independence

Food independence is at the root of sustainability and represents a key concept of the Resiliency Movement. Independence has many meanings from energy solutions to making healthier food choices to leveraging technology whenever possible.

Affordable Housing

We as a country have generally agreed that housing expenses shouldn't be more than 30% of what you earn, leaving 70% of your income for food, clothing, transportation and other necessities. If you spend more than 30% of your income on housing expenses, you are considered "overburdened".

Technology

While innovations have always influenced the values of a society and have raised new questions in the ethics of technology, the advancement of technology itself has also led to the pursuit of new solutions for the previously discussed concerns of technological advancement.

Education

Education can be thought of as the transmission of the values and accumulated knowledge of a society. In this sense, it is equivalent to what social scientists term socialization. WEDO education provides leadership, assistance, oversight and resources so that everyone has access to an education.

Available Resources

Resources The total means available for economic and political development, such as mineral wealth, labor force and available economic support. Resources The total means available to an individual, a company, a community for increasing production or profit, including plant, labor, and raw material; assets.
